About

Sinead Hanley is an independent illustrator and designer based in Melbourne, Australia.

Her work is often inspired by the world around her. Nature, bush, people, creatures, and travel are all frequent subjects of her work. She loves textures, bright cheerful colours, graphic shapes, unexpected juxtapositions and aims to bring a smile to people’s faces.

Her love of story-making began in childhood where adventure and magical worlds unfolded in the bushland of Western Australia. 

When Sinead isn’t working late, she loves to watch the abundant birdlife along Merri Creek, grow vegetables and bush hike with a sketchbook.
